Why Alpha-Delta?

You already know the impact Greek life has—because you lived it. The term ‘social fraternity’ might give the impression that the Greek experience is superficial. But research shows that personal connections and friendships are the key to happiness.

These lifelong relationships are only part of what makes the fraternity experience so transformational. From our career trajectories to our family’s values, our Alpha-Delta experience played a key role. Our experiences helped make us into the people we are today.

Here is an eBook of some of the best responses to recent a survey of Greek communities across the country. These quotes illustrate why Greek life is and will remain a key part of the higher education experience. Click HERE to read the eBook and keep reading to see what Alpha-Delta members had to say.

My brothers. Pledge brothers and older brothers alike. That special feeling of being part of something bigger than you. So many good memories, from initiation to dining together (I can still hear Gunner yelling about being in the clean plate club). Camaraderie is the word, and a special bond that forms. I have a real brother, but the older guys in the house had way more influence in my life.David Dick ‘74

“I thoroughly enjoyed my years at KS and the enduring friendships I made. Many of the friendships have been maintained over the past 50 years since graduation.Louis Koehler ‘69

“The most valuable part of my Kappa Sig experience is staying connected with brothers from my era, as well as potentially helping undergrads make the transition to the working world.” – Kevin Coppins ‘92
